Tamarack Pant
I don't want to tear down these pants because I do like them, however I do want to let the purchaser know that there are only two belt loops which are both located in the front. There are Velcro waist cinches on each hip but I feel they aren't enough if you take a couple tumbles on a powder day. Lastly if it matters to you these pant hand pockets zip closed upwards.

I like these pants very much. Not too heavy; more of a shell, yet there is thin polyester inner lining which combined with the MemBrain and tough outer Nylon leaves good warmth. Seam taped pockets are nice - not too many (3 total) for minimalism (which I like). I also like the reinforced heavy Nylon areas around where the pant bottoms rub against one another by the feet and the internal gaiters. W

Nice ski pants
Just returned from using the pants skiing in lousy, wet weather, and stayed completely dry. They have many nice features.
They don't fit as well as I'd like, though. I wore them and liked them, but the waist is a little too tight; a 33 fits in all the pants I wear, but not so well with these. I bought mediums, the size recommended by Marmot. I couldn't wear a large, because the mediums are alread

Great Quality but...
These a great pants that excel in winter snowsports. The quality is what you would expect from Marmot at this price range. The block wind, water and cold while maintaining breathability. However, if you are a short person do not purchase these pants. I measured the inseam of the pair I received (size small) at 37 inches. WAY TOO LONG to be comfortable
