Not what they used to be

I've been a Merrill user for a long time. Sadly, the trimming of corners (to save money?) has put them out of the running with me. The Moab vent 2 is a nice shoe, but Merrill has made the finger loop so small, it's a vestige. By that, I mean it's no longer functional. I can barely get one finger in it. very comfortable, size and extra width exactly as expected. Just enough firmness in the inside to not feel sloppy but still feels good. The sole is grippy, just as expected and advertised. I would recommend this product. I have yet to try rock climbing with them though :)
