Don't let the name fool you, the MSR Titan Kettle can function as more than just a kettle for brewing your favorite coffee or tea. The MSR Titan Kettle is a Pans, Pots, & Kettles that you can use as a pot, mug, or bowl on your camping trips. The versatility is particularly useful for ounce counters who like to minimize the weight in their backpacks, as it serves multiple purposes and can hold 0.85 L of liquid. The Titan Kettle comes with a tight-fitting lid and drip-free spout, so you don't have to worry about losing your water or food.Â

This is perfect for me because I mostly eat from dehydrated food pouches when backpacking, so all I need is something to boil 16-oz of water and to use as a mug. I much prefer the short/wide shape of the Titan because there's more bottom surface area for the stove's flame to heat plus its more stable on top of the stove.

I am very pleased with the Titan Kettle. It is perfect for my needs. I've had the MSR Blacklite set for awhile now and decided that there wasn't any point in having such large, bulky pots when all I use them for is to boil water. I am a fan of MSR so looked to see what else they had and came across the Titan kettle. It is a perfect size to boil water for 1-2 person meals and is... Read more

This is the best titanium pot for one person in my opinion. the lid could put on the pot perfectly. High quality making from MSR as always. I like it so much and take if for my every trip. Boiling water, or just use it as a bowl.
The Titan Kettle's dimensions are just under 4 1/2" in diameter and just over 3 1/2" tall. A canister's diameter is 4 1/4 so a canister will (4 or 8oz) fit inside. However you can only fit an 8oz canister inside whereas with the 4oz canister, you can also fit a PocketRocket.
