I have strong sensitivities to smells and chemicals. Is this Big Agnes one of the ones with the fewer toxic products in the seams? Is it covered with flame retardant? Thanks. — 1 Answer

Big Agnes uses a seam tape that is solvent free, meaning that it has no PVC’s or VOC’s, two things that folks watch out for with chemical sensitivities. By law they use fire retardants on their tent fabrics, though they do not use halogenated fire retardants that contain chlorinated or brominated chemicals.
