Are there options or ideas as how to stash easy-to-access items for someone very used to getting small items from a top lid ( the VC has no lid or zippered compartment). What;s the best way to tag on on asholder strap bag or add-on tot he hipbelt? Thanks

I have a similar pack system. I ordered a small, MOLLE compatible pack that I strap on to the outside of the pack. It has a zippered closure and a bunch of small pockets for organizing stuff inside. Look for something called a pocket organization bag or EDC gear organizer. I found that this system worked really well for me.

The pack comes with a men's medium belt.

Some websites say the maximum load is 35 lb. The lable on the pack says 30 lb. Which is it & what would happen if I exceed the max by, say, 3-5 lbs?

I would trust the label on the pack. Going over that weight limit likely won't damage the pack, but the load will be less comfortable to carry.

Granite Gear made the belts available to us recently, but we are awaiting our first shipment of interchangeable belts. Feel free to call our customer service team at 877-883-6276, and they can assist you with swapping belts. It may be 3 to 4 weeks before we receive these belts.

Granite Gear has not made extra belts and shoulder straps available at this time, though they plan to have them ready for order by the end of May. As soon as we can get a shipment, we will be able to customize these parts.

Currently we are not able to swap out hipbelts and shoulder straps as Granite Gear has not made varying sizes available. They do plan to have them available for us to order by the end of May. By then we should be able to customize.

Hi I want to buy this pack, however I need to have a hip belt that is XL size. Do I need order it as an extra or do you swap out the belt on the pack with a XL size belt at no additional cost? Do I just specify the request in special instructions with the order? Regards Peter

Granite Gear normally has this in stock but we have heard that they won't be available until mid-May. We will order them shortly after that and have them available to swap out.
