I would like to politely disagree with Campsaver's answer. According to the Lem's website and sizing chart this is a unisex design, not a men's specific model.
This is addressed in the FAQ's section of the Lem's website: "Q: Are your men's and women's shoes the same or do they fit differently? A: All of our products are built on a UNISEX last, so there is no difference between the men’s and women’s fit/feel." (source: https://www.lemsshoes.com/faq/)
The sizing chart for the Boulder Boot can be viewed here: https://www.lemsshoes.com/sizing-chart/
Thank you for your question It would be a US men's 11 and Us women's 12. Let us know if you have any additional questions.
Men's 11 or women's 11? I'm going to assume men's.
Lem's has two sizing charts, make sure you are looking at the one that specfies the Boulder boot. You can see the chart here: https://www.lemsshoes.com/sizing-chart/
I wear a women's 10. I ordered the size 43 which according to the chart, is the equivalent of a U.S women's size 10-10.5. I am very happy with this size. Since it is winter (I live in Michigan) I will be wearing these with a mid-heavy weight pair of wool hiking socks. These allow just enough room for that without being squeezed (they aren't too big.) I plan on wearing these boots year round (I am in love after wearing them just a week) so I might possibly size down to a 42 for the summer when I will only be wearing a thin liner sock.
So, if you are a straight men's 11, you should be fine with the 45. But if you plan on adding sock bulk, you will probably be better off with the 46.
these are true to size. With the wide toe box on these, I would not size up at all.
I am a 9.5. I wear 43 for this boot, Primal 2 and nine 2 five. This is not like a regular boot. It is a minimalist boot. Very lightweight and very comfortable (my opinion). It also has no support because that’s what your feet are for. You can feel the earth. Your toes will splay and try to grip like your human foot is meant to do. I love arms and I love feeling the ground. I will never go back to a bulky boot or shoe. Buy Lems - your feet will thank you. But be warned - your calves and feet will fatigue quickly at first as you will be building new muscles if your aren’t used to barefoot or minimalist shoes. Don’t overdue it. Take it slow and you will be strong and you will be happy you made the switch from bulky to minimalist.
This is a minimalist shoe. It has a wide toe box. However - putting an orthodox in this shoe would make me sad. It’s MINIMALIST. Your feet are supposed to be healthy and strong and not need support. Wearing cramped shoes most of your life probably contributed to your hammer toe situation. It’s unfortunate. This shoe may be ok for you since it has a wide toe box but, like I said, it’s intended to be minimalist. I would not recommend an insert just on principal.
They are not.
