Can I use ethanol chafing gel with this stove?

Trangia Suggests the following fuel types to use with this stove: <br/>Burning alcohol <br/>Denaturated alcohol <br/>Solvent Alcohol <br/>Heet <br/>Any other fuels may damage the stove or your pots/pans, or may cause the stove not to work properly and are not suggested for use.

In regard to previous question, what do you recommend to clean the burners?

The burner is made of brass, so you should be able to use any brass cleaner.

What kind of fuel does it take and do you sell the fuel?

Denatured alcohol is the recommended fuel because it burns cleanly. (You can pick this up at any hardware store). Other alcohols like isopropyl can be used if necessary, but Trangia reccomends watering it down just a little. Isopropyl does not burn as cleanly as denatured alcohol, and you may need to clean the burner more often.
