Great hardshell. Very well designed. Abundance of pockets. Comfortable. Well manufactured.
One nit: I would have liked a sleeve pocket for items like car keys.

The jacket was well constructed. It breathed very well. At the base of the ice climb I took the jacket off and placed it on the snow. Due to warm weather water was was running off the ice and puddled onto the jacket. No water leaked through. I like the Event material and the Rab jacket.
This is a very well made shell - just about the best I've seen. I've used it in wet and windy high altitude situations, and it performed flawlessly. I was always the driest and most comfortable member of the group. The hood fits very well over a helmet, and I've never worn any waterproof shell that breathes as well as eVent.

I really like the hood on this jacket, I've tried on a few jackets and the hoods were massive. I've been told that it is to accommodate a helmet.
However I don't see wearing a football helmet or a motorbike helmet on any adventures. This was the only jacket I've found that fit me well around the head.
