Fantastic Meal

I'm a big fan of sweet and sour, so this meal was right up my alley. The sauce to rice ratio is excellent with a slight kick. The rice quickly absorbs the water for a hearty meal in 13 minutes.

Deyhdrated Sweet & Sour Chicken food - serves 2

Nice product - I have used it before. Recently went back backing with my brother for a few days and ate this while out in the woods. My brother had never tried this before. He said Uh- taste good - who would have ever thought I would be eating Chinese in the middle of the woods. This product of food was at a good price too

Pretty good for Pouch Food

This is a pretty good meal. The way it is prepared has a big impact on the flavor. After following the cooking directions, I suggest you open the pouch and let it sit for a bit. This will cause the sauce to thicken up a tad and be that much more flavorful. Besides that, great dish that is easy to cook.

A terrific dish for any outing

Great for backpacking, camping, and because of flavor I'd recommend it for a boyscout troop.
Very flavorful, decent nutrition, very easy to prepare, overall a great dish!
Easily prepared in the bag once you have boiling water.

Sweet and Great-to-take-backpaking

I felt there were a lot of flavors that could be really good, but the way we prepared it was a little too wet. Definitely don't use as much water. But still pretty fantastic!

It was good but lacked a little kick. Seemed a little watered down so I would suggest cutting back a little bit on the recommended water.
