I love the supple feel of this rope and its weight. Of course there are lighter ropes out there nowadays, but not too many things can go wrong with a rope from Beal. The color is a tad brighter, gaudier shade than the picture suggests.

Bought this specifically for alpine climbing because of light-weight-ness. I might or might not have taken it out for sport climbing a couple times. Took a real big falls on it, but didn't realize it since my belayer was awesome, but also because of the catch. The softest catch I've had on a rope. Love that it's light and small, great for it's function. Durable thus far!
