Purchased the footprint as the Copper Spur Hv Ul2 floor material is thin and fragile. It fits the dimensions of the Copper Spur perfectly. Best way to setup - lay out the footprint first, attach the poles to respective corner grommets, this actually locks the footprint onto the poles and keeps it from falling off, then add the tent or rainfly. The footprint makes it much easier to set up the tent rainfly in the rain, once the rainfly is set up, crawl inside of it, put up the tent while protected from the rain and keeping tent interior dry.

Big Agnes Copper Spur footprint
Let's be honest, is this footprint rather expensive, yes. Should Big Agnes probably included it with the tent, yes. But then again if you're spending this much on a tent why not go with it, I've used it multiple times and I would say absolutely necessary if you're not just camping in your backyard. I have the hv ul 2 version of the tent and having the footprint come already ready to go was a bonus, plus if you would like you could also pitch the fly first so to not get a wet interior, although I find this technique to be rather cumbersome and not that useful when camping. But if you want to throw it up as a sun shade for a picnic or perhaps on the beach for the kids works great in just the rainfly configuration. Which is only possible with the footprint.

Does the job
This footprint will do what it is intended to do. I haven’t used it yet, but will be taking it on a backpacking trip to Coyote Gulch to se with my Big Agnes UL2 tent at the end of this month. I anticipate that this will fit my tent, since I couldn’t find a footprint for the UL2, but comments said the Moonglo footprint will work. Shipment was fast and the sale price was very good compared to other stores.

Copper Spur HV UL 2 ground cloth
This seems like a great item. I always have used ground cloths to protect my tents. Since this is my first lightweight, expensive tent, Copper Spur HV UL 2, I hope to give it all the protection I can.
It is very expensive for a ground cloth. I haven't used it yet. Hope it is an exceptional product and protects my tent floor. It seems nice that is made exactly for the tent I purchased, but a cheaper ground cloth probably could achieve the same protection and a fraction of the price.
