I bought this bag in order to save weight and keep warm on the Colorado Trail this coming summer. I have always used Marmot down bags. The reason I decided to go with Big Agnes this time is that I have always been unhappy with the way down bags don't insulate very well under the body because the down gets compressed when you lay on it.
