Since its mid August I'm unable to field test this
bag. From my examination, the materials seem to be
first class and the workmanship is very good.
Looking forward to using it when cold weather arrives.

I bought this bag in order to save weight and keep warm on the Colorado Trail this coming summer. I have always used Marmot down bags. The reason I decided to go with Big Agnes this time is that I have always been unhappy with the way down bags don't insulate very well under the body because the down gets compressed when you lay on it. Great sleeping bag: warm but light-weight, packs down to a fraction of its size, roomy enough for those who are claustrophobic and has a great design for a collar draft tube (it actually looks like a yoke so it forms around your neck vs. a straight draft tube that doesn't follow the contour of your neck/shoulder area).

This is my first higher-end sleeping bag. The quality is incredible. You really notice a difference with the 850 down. It compresses better than cheaper bags and fluffs right out when you unroll it. Plus, it is very roomy and stays put when you roll over.

Got it 2 weeks before my trip to the Wilderness. I was very impressed with the room when zipped fully up. I was able to turn over since I do not sleep in the same position and can't stand to be completely confined. Was plenty warm enough since it got down into low 40's and 30's.
