Well made

by KarlosJ83, Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on September 10, 2011
Since its mid August I'm unable to field test this
bag. From my examination, the materials seem to be
first class and the workmanship is very good.
Looking forward to using it when cold weather arrives.
Most Helpful Positive Review Great Bag For Backpacking
I bought this bag in order to save weight and keep warm on the Colorado Trail this coming summer. I have always used Marmot down bags. The reason I decided to go with Big Agnes this time is that I have always been unhappy with the way down bags don't insulate very well under the body because the down gets compressed when you lay on it. Big Agnes solves this problem by removing the down from the

I've owned several brands of sleeping bags, and this one is up there with rab, and Brooks range bags. It's very lite, warm, and very comfortable.

Big Agnes Mystic UL

by Kevin P., Verified Owner from SHROPSHIRE, United Kingdom Written on December 23, 2016
just arrived today 23rd December 2016. It looks and feels awsome. Long version - but hopefully the wide version as I wanted it to fit a 25" air bed which I also order. Not tried the bed and Air Core yet as too much to do in the build up to Christmas. But wow it is well made and started to loft up as soon as I took it out of the bag. Awesome is one word

Strange coloring

by Terrence G., from PA, United States Written on May 30, 2015
I purchased this and found the phot's and wording of coloring to be VERY wrong!..the graphite isn't a graphite,..confirmed by big agnes and other,,its more like a chocolate color...the sunflower is more like an orange..other wise seemed well stitiched and light...B.A. please make this in the correct coloring!

Great Bag

by Fletcher K., from SC, United States Written on January 7, 2015
I was a little skeptical about a quilt style bag when buying one specifically for cold weather camping. However, I was really impressed with this one. I'm a side and stomach sleeper and I move a lot at night. With the integrated sleeve for my pad, the bag and pad stayed put and I stayed in my bag and on my pad all night. The bag is very warm and the draft collar around the zipper and hood area kept the heat in. I also liked the sleeve for my pillow so the little guy didn't wander off through the night. The weight to warmth ratio is impressive and I was snug all night in about 28 degree weather. My only complaint and the only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that there is not enough of an external collar or baffle around the pad sleeve. I could feel the cold seep in a little when I would turn or roll from underneath me where the bag doesn't have any kind of insulation. Still - overall I was warm and comfy and am very happy with this bag!

Good foot-room

by Sarah from Modj, from CA, United States Written on September 10, 2013
I need zip-together bags and can't stand mummy bags, so I have limited choices. I have used Big Agnes fiber-fill bags in the past, but needed lighter, warmer bags so I chose this bag. One drawback to this bag in its zipped-together form is the wide (8") gap that forms between the pads because of the placement of the pad sleeves.

Fantastic bag quality and weight

Combines great with the Big Agnes Q-Core Pad. The pad is relatively heavy for backpacking but the comfort is worth it.

Nice and Roomy

by The Hunter, Written on September 10, 2013
Got it 2 weeks before my trip to the Wilderness. I was very impressed with the room when zipped fully up. I was able to turn over since I do not sleep in the same position and can't stand to be completely confined. Was plenty warm enough since it got down into low 40's and 30's. With a light long sleeve T-shirt, again, I like to sleep with my arms free as well, it did very well and when I got a li

Nice and Roomy

Got it 2 weeks before my trek into the Wilderness. It did very well. I do not like to be confined when I sleep and tend to roll over quite a bit. Being 6' tall and about 225lbs, I was extremely pleased with how it did on my trip and slept pretty good during the evenings. I will be getting the fitted pad to go inside the sleeping bag pocket. So as I move around in my bag the pad will move with me.
