I am familiar with this type of tent as I already own a Sierra Designs Lightyear 1 person tent. I like the freestanding aspect of the Seedhouse(a factor not shared with the L/Y). This is a major advantage if you have to relocate the tent after it is erected. You never know what local conditions can develop.
