I have been using this carabiner for a half year in the gym and works as expected. So I purchased another four the climbing on the rock outside recently. I haven't tried any else so far but there's no reason so far since I'm satisfied with this one.

I use these with my sling to make top rope anchors. They get the job done. I don't feel they will open without my wanting them too, they are sturdy as all get out, and the colors are fun too. I'm glad they were on sale though.

Durable enough for most of the usages. Besides, the price is so reasonable that will make you want to have more than one of these carabiners. I would surely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a proper yet cheap carabiner for climbing.

Not suitable for hiking owing to the weight but durable and reliable for climbing! At a first glance, the carabiner with nice design and good material, but finishing is not that polished, with matte silver coating on it.

The BD Rocklock handles most "big biner" tasks well. Being round it makes a very smooth belay carabiner. It is wide enough for several widths of rope like when rappelling, or using munters or clove hitches. If used as an anchor or redirect the shape shifts load toward the spine for strength, but the rounded profile makes for smooth rope action. The gently curved corners allow it to be used with wider items like a pulley that would bind in the corner of a standard offset D.
As a jack of all trades large carbiner, it is the one I reach for when I need something a little bigger, rounder, or less angular than a standard offset D. When outfitting my family, everybody needed one of these plus a cheap tube device for belays and rappells. Then we needed a few more for anchors, tie in points, and other miscellaneous large biner functions. Now it's the first large biner I look for when I'm shopping for this style. Conveniently it is also widely available and an easy order add on almost everywhere I shop.
I can't see buying or carrying around numerous different big carabiners when this one does everything I need of a large biner.

These are great. These are my go-to when setting up anchors. Strong, big, and cheap. You can never have enough locking carabiners.

I use these primarily for setting up canyoneering clove-hitch anchors, connecting ATCs to PAS's and a few other things. They work when wet/sandy and where a large biner is desired.

There's a lot of carabiners out there, but when they screw lock,it's a better deal.Light, approximately 1/2" in diameter, these "Black Diamond" carabiners are probably,in my mind, the safest a person can have.
