universal perfect tool
I love these. I finally decided to breakdown and replace my first generation leashed Cobras, and I couldn't be happier. The Vipers made the transition to leashless climbing simple and straightforward.

Universal tool
I use them in Kazakhstan in our highlands.Tried this on mixed and ice climbs. They are really light, perfectly balanced and well made. Great for alpine style climbing. Picks are durable and last longer then Singing Rock Bandits (my previous axes). If you keep them sharp, they are also great in ice, however if you prefer only ice climbing and more difficult routes, then you should consider Fuels or other specialized tools for ice.

Well crafted tool
Pretty good ax. Doesn't place in ice as easily as others, but the thing that I love is the super comfy grip. Works great for my hands and is super sticky to help you not get too gripped in the vert. Enough curvage in the shaft to help pull bulges easily and to keep your hands away from the ice, but not too much to make things awkward on lower angle terrain. Pinkie guard also helps protect against bruised knuckles.
