Comfy

Written on Aug 07, 2016

I've used this multiple times already and it's very comfortable. We tried the nemo fillo and the aeros premium to compare and we and ended up returning the fillo because it didn't pack down as small and was a tad bit heavier. We were trying to save every oz and as much space as possible without compromising comfort.

Love it

Great adventure jacket that is warm, light weight, and packs small and travels well no matter where you're going. I'm 5'11" 185lbs and went with size medium. It's fitted for me at this size so there's no extra bulk or length in the arms or waist, it fits absolutely perfect.

great piece of gear. like many others have said, it's light, compact, easy to use, and good for all types of climbing.

Good investment

Solid Rope for climbing in the SE where humidity and random afternoon thunderstorms are very common. Stoked on it so far because it ended up raining during its first few uses.

Used it last week on a climbing trip in NC. It's more than enough room for 2 people + a lot of gear and I imagine it is large enough for 3 people to sleep comfortably (if they're light, organized packers). I set it up in my backyard a few times and it took me a couple tries to get used to the poles. I was used to the standard x pole setup that is common in most tents. It's hard to explain, but these poles are attached together in 2 places (and can't be separated from one another). To set them up, you have to bend the poles so that one looks like the letter "C" and the other looks like a backwards "C", and then place the ends in the appropriate footprint eyelets. After that it's super easy to finish the color-coordinated setup. I left it setup at our basecamp for 3 days and it endured rain, wind, and a ton of bugs and nothing got inside. The gear loft (which I purchased separately) worked great too for my small items that I didn't want to misplace. I intend to use this tent for a long time for surf trips, climbing trips, music festivals, or anything really, although it may not be my first choice for an extended backpacking trip at 6lbs, that's where the hubba-hubba 2-person comes into play!
