Design is spot on. Quality control not so much.

This is a small, compact, lightweight stove that disassembles and packs flat. Small enough to work on a small space saver mug, but strong enough for a much larger pot. The cool thing about this stove is you can use it as a wood burning stove, or a pot stand for a Trangia alcohol stove, or with solid fuel tablets. Mine came with a manufacturing defect with the front plate where the slots weren’t cut deep enough so there is a bit of a wobble. Also the small holes at the top of the front plate were cut incorrectly leaving the top of the hole open and very sharp edges.

Different in a very cool kind of way

I really like the design of the knife. It was based on examples of Viking knives which is cool since they lived bushcraft before it became a fad. The wood handle has a nice linseed oil smell just like my Scandinavian axes handles. The knife comes with a sharp scandi grind and a pleasing pukko style leather sheath. Good burner, okay pot stand

You are actually getting two products with this set. A Trangia burner, and a fold up pot stand which I believe is made by Liberty Mountain. First off the Trangia burner is a good alcohol stove with the nice feature of a sealing lid which gives you the option of storing alcohol in it. It burns for over 20 minutes with 3oz of fuel. The pot stand folds flat and is easy to carry. It is most stabl

Good way to carry a candle lantern

I still dig the warm light of a mini candle lantern especially when camping in the cold. This neoprene sleeve fits a uco mini candle lantern perfectly and it protects the glass globe while its in your pack. If you like a candle lantern you need one of these sleeves.

Best Alcohol Stove

This is the best alcohol stove I've tried. Yes it is expensive, but it's design offers advantages over other stoves. First off it is beautifully crafted and finished. No sloppy homemade appearance. Titanium is light and very durable plus it will stand up to much hotter temperatures than brass or aluminum. This stove should last for years. No there is no simmer ring or cap to lose or wear out

Not just a little teapot

I love to use the GSI halulite kettle for all types of camping. Backpacking, day hikes, car camping and even motorcycle camping. I've used in on Svea 123, giga power, and several alcohol stoves. The short and stout size holds enough water to get a couple of freeze dried meals going, or one meal and coffee water for solo trips. For car camping its great to get your coffee water going in the mor
