I use this with my Edelrid Mega Jul. This works great with that belay device. Simplistic and well built design. For the price this is a great locking carabiner. Can't wait to put this through more tests.

Wish I would have bought this long ago. My wife is my belay partner and I weigh a bit more than her and jerk her off the ground during a fall and using a normally tubular belay device was always dicey. This adds a little extra security without going full mechanical belay. Works great with my 9.8mm rope. I was worried about ease of use but the thumb loop is set up perfectly, if you have been belaying with a tubular belay this will be second nature.
Great price and shoe for beginner

Bought these four my 12 year old son as a beginner shoe. He has not had any complaints so fast and said that are comparable to the rental shoes he's worn in the past. Quality of construction is on point. The design is more of a comfortable shoe rather than one designed for hard core climbing.
