Just to be clear. This bag is very comfortable. The big agnes sleep system is pretty cool although being attached to your pad takes some getting used to. The Fish Hawk specifically is rated to 30 degrees, but, I would not want to take it to that temp. At 50 degrees the other night I actually had a few cold spots. I attribute this mostly to the rectangular design and the edges of the non insula
Relatively lightweight compared to it's features. Good insulation that keeps things hot. Fairly compact for what it is. I gave it four stars because it takes up too much room in my pack. This is relative however as all my other hydration gear is soft, fold-able, and very compact.
Well, it digs a hole to[*] in. Surprisingly however this product is favored by me over a traditional camp trowel. The main reason for this is it's compact-ability. This thing packs to about half the size of a traditional trowel. You can put TP in the handle (although it can be a little difficult to get out). It comes with a nice ultra-sil storage pouch that can also fit a packet of wet-ones for
This fits perfectly with the xt 1. The jakes foot is really great. Just attach the footprint to the body and leave it there pretty much forever. See my review of the lightning xt1.
A spork is a spork, right? Wrong. This thing is light, very compact, and titanium durable. It has quickly become my favorite camp utensil. If you have non-stick pots and pans and will use this too cook with, then look elsewhere for a lexan spork.
This thing is a classic. It works every time without fail. It is light and compact. If you are looking at alcohol stoves then this is the one to buy. It's a Cadillac. Buy it.
Bought this boot a few weeks ago. So far so good. Great fit and finish. Very Comfortable. Very little break in time. My feet are on the wider side and these boots work great for me. Great heal support with very little wiggle. No blisters so far. Stiff, in a good way. I have read other reviews that have said they tend to crack in the sole after a thousand miles or so. If this happens I wou
Originally I wanted a sleeping bag that packed really really small. Alas, not all of us have the money to purchase top-end bags. Enter the 650 down arena. Although these are great bags they are much more bulky than their 800+ counterparts. Now comes the BA UL Girdle. Viola, my 650 is now as small if not smaller than most 800+ plus bags. Now if they only made a compression strap that actually
