Powerful for its weight

Written on Mar 21, 2023

This stove is American Made, powerful and heats up fast, like a fighter- jet engine! It was a little difficult to set up the first time but will be fine as I become familiar with it. The pump bottle attachment does not need an additional O-ring, as it adapts to its brand MSR bottle. A Sigg bottle will also work in a pinch, but is not recommended. Be careful of overtightening the fittings. Considering the rubber and plastic parts are new, you have to be gentle with it as it breaks-in. The supports are great for a pot or pan up to 10", perfect for frying a Brookie, or boiling coffee water and heating your outdoor meal. The wind screen and heat shield are good to have with it. Make sure you have lots of space to cook in, no overhanging branches, pine needles or tall grass!

Light & Strong

I like the new design and construction of this Copper Spur 3 person tent. It is perfect for 2 people to sleep most comfortably. You could roll out another sleeping bag for the 3rd person, but it's just ideal room for two. Can't wait to set up at the high lake and hunker down in a thunderstorm! I bet it will keep dry inside, with the high-wall design. Super easy and quick to pitch, with color coded poles and buckles. The thin material is top of line for strength. Most of the tent body is lightweight mesh, so great for ventilation.

Keeps the heat!

I am completely satisfied with my new Terralite bag. It unzips to make a quilt and it is perfect as a cover on a not-so-cold night. I am so happy to have saved up to treat myself to this high-quality, American-made sleeping bag. The materials and quality of construction are like no other. It packs small and is super lightweight and super warm with 850 down. Do yourself a favor, get the Western Mountaineering sleeping bag and enjoy the cool nights in puffy paradise!

Light and tight!

This backpack is lightweight in construction and materials, but very durable. It fits tight against your back and is easily customized to fit your specific torso size. The compartments inside are great for separating your sleeping gear from your camping gear and the external pockets and back-pouch are roomy enough to store items you don't need to keep dry, like water or fuel containers and your wind/rain parka. The lid comes off easily to convert into a lightweight day pack, to carry your lunch, first aid kit and a layer of clothing up to the summit. You can also remove the lid and then close the top when carrying a smaller load.
