Roomy tent for one adult.

This is a light 2-person tent but I bought it to use as a one-person tent for car camping. My main consideration for this purchase is the use of DAC aluminum for the poles which past experience has proven them durable as they flex without deforming. I consider the fabric excellent for the price. I also own a Eureka! one-person tent which is comparable in materials and construction to this Salida-2 but costs a third more and is of course smaller. I use the smaller tent in colder weather and will use the Salida-2 with its better air-flow in summer.

This is the Chinese made version of the European product. I bought this version because the European version did not come in the height I want. The seat fabric material by description is not the same as the original and is beginning to unravel where it is joined to the legs on 3 holes with plastic rivets. The stool had been used no more than a dozen times indoors. I am 5'-5", 120lbs male so this is a design issue. To a heavier person this issue will be more obvious. From this experience I would not purchase this product again and would consider the European version should it be offered in the 20" height.
