Used the backpack on a camping trip on Dominican Republic, worked perfectly, lots of pockets which are very secure. Easy to clean.

Just the right size

by MJ, Written on May 5, 2014
I bought this pack because I needed a "Goldilocks" pack - one just the right size. This fit the bill perfectly. Enough for everything you'll need on a day hike - not an overnight unless you are a real minimalist. If you fill the 3L all the way full, it is a bit snug - but I don't drink nearly that much in six hours (and I share with my dog). The belt strap is great for a smaller pack and you c

Love it!

by Will, from KY, United States Written on December 12, 2013
This bag is great for day hiking. It is super lightweight and very comfortable. The waistbelt and straps do not rub and distribute the weight really well, so you can walk comfortably for miles. The water bladder has its own compartment, which is nice. And the back of the backpack is made out of stretchy material, which is also durable, so you can carry just about anything, even if it is an odd sha

Love My Highwire 25 Pack!

by Hiker Loni, Written on December 12, 2013
I purchased this in late December and used it for the first time in early January for a 3 hour hike. It was very, very comfortable. The pack has many different sized pockets and storage areas. The thick strap at the hip area offers more support than a pack with a thin weak strap. My hiking partner tried the pack and agreed that the thick strap definitely offered more support. There wasn't any

Awesome Bag!

I use this backpack for day hikes, and it is awesome. The pack is really lightweight, so you only feel the weight of the stuff you put in it. The hydration bladder has its own compartment, which is nice. The material on the back of the back is super stretchy so you can carry almost whatever you want that will fit. The waistbelt is comfortable. Nice little pockets everywhere. Super durable and comf

A Great Combination

by GAML, Written on September 10, 2013
Used this hydration system on a hike of Mt. Katahdin. Pack was great ! Pockets where you needed them, no leaks from the bladder, ample supply of water for a hike of this type. Enough room for a fleece, rain jacket, and food. Bladder system with quick disconnect worked great. A great daypack & hydration system.

Packs it in just right

by Fiesty Shell, Written on September 10, 2013
I used this pack for the first time on a camping trip to the presidential mountains in NH. I used it specifically for climbing Rumney one day and hiking Mt. Adams. It fit all my climbing gear perfectly (adding the helmet was kind of tight but with some more readjustment I'm sure it would've been great). I wouldn't recommend bringing it on a hike unless you had more equipment than is necessary for

Great storage space and lots of water!

by Smoe, Written on September 10, 2013
We used this on a Boundary Waters trip and it worked great for putting light jackets in, sunscreen, snacks, camera, etc in it along with being full of water. It was nice to be able to have easy access to those items instead of digging through our packs. It was also wonderful for day trips.

One Cool Pack

by Doron, from OH, United States Written on September 10, 2013
A lot of thought went into the design of this pack. First, it has ample space: In addition to a roomy main compartment, it has a great easy-access outside pouch and two (small) water bottle pockets on each side. Second, it is full of cool features: Two small pouches on the hip belt (always a sore point w/ most other day-packs) for easy access of camera, gorp, etc.; plenty mesh on the shoulder stra
