Wanted to love it...
It just isn't the right coat for me. Beautifully made, gorgeous, red color. I am 5'3" 128 lbs. First purchased a large, as I Like coats roomy. It was enormous. I then exchanged it for a Medium. It was still way too big. The arm and torso length are extremely long. I would have changed it again for a small, but I really struggled with the zipper on both coats. Just decided it wasn't worth the effort. Plus, the coat was VERY heavy. Beautiful details, great pockets, too.

Nice parka
A bit bulky but overall really nice and comfortable. I’m very tall and long armed, it fits well in the arms. Sizing does seem generous. Arm pockets are higher than I’d like. Wish there were faux pockets at the regular spot.

Broken Zipper
I was very excited to receive this jacket. It fits well. But the zipper is broken, making the jacket completely unusable. I feel very very disappointed. It was on sale and there aren't any more in stock in that size and color. I'd give zero stars if I could. I should not have been sent a broken jacket that cost $300. I would have ordered it from somewhere else if I knew this could happen.
Pros:
- Seems really warm and cute, fits well
Cons:
- Completely unusable

Warmest coat ever
I have spent a lot of years looking for coats - the last big puffy parka I had was great except the arms were too short. It didn't last me. I am 5'9" but with long arms and legs (more like a 6-footer). Finally in this Fjallraven Nuuk Parka I have found a coat that fits as if it were made for me. It is like putting on a cocoon of warmth. The zipper goes all the way up and I can still move. The sleeves come right where they should, just below the wristbones. The shoulders are wide enough, yet the whole coat has a slim profile. (I'm 155 lbs for reference.) And it has style!
It was expensive, even with a great Campsaver discount, but worth every penny. My only thoughts - it's a bit too warm in temps over 35 degrees, and it feels heavy then too. But for a waterproof, windproof, super warm parka, I love it!

Warm, stylish
Wore this jacket on a 2 hour hike while wearing this coat in North Dakota. It was 14 degrees outside with a pretty good wind. I was perfectly warm! All I had on under the coat was a fleece sweater. I love the hood, keeps the wind from smacking your forehead. I still wore a fleece face mask for my nose and lower face. It’s not the G-1000 fabric but it does have fjallraven’s “hydratic membrane”, makes it waterproof but adds a breathable feature so you don’t sweat as much.
Pros:
- Warm and style. Unique
Cons:
- Cost, but Fjallraven is made to last!
Best Used for:
- Casual walking, hiking
