Looks good on line...not so much in real life
I love Icebreaker! I have so many pieces of the stuff I can't count them all. Maybe they should stick to what they do best, which is merino wool! This piece promised to be the next step in breathable, warm insulation, but there's a catch...namely that there's a lot of knitted material (like polyester) in the back and sides for heat to escape. I'm all for breathable, but there's too much of the stuff! A gentle breeze goes right through it; you never get to the point of "dumping heat" because your body can't stay warm enough in the first place. I loved the idea behind this jacket; just not it's ...

Terrific product and price
I own many articles of clothing by Icebreaker and their Helix jacket is excellent Llghtweight, innovative, stylish, meticulously designed and manufactured and very warm despite its light weight thanks to IB’s proprietary Merinoloft technology which is based on merino wool that IB is known for. And, Canpsaver has the best price and fast delivery, so, I’m a “happy camper!”
