This thing is fantastic, lightweight, and compact. I'm about to take it on our annual winter camping trip to really put it to the test and I'm sure it will do wonderful!

Fantastic backpacking stove

I absolutely love this stove compared to other light weight backpacking stove alternatives! It is incredibly light weight, easy to pack and even has space to carry the fuel canister. Boils water incredibly fast too! 1000ml in under 2 minutes is pretty hard to beat. Perfect for efficiently boiling water for multiple meals at a time.

Lightweight, and works. What more could you want?

I used this product and it performed exactly as you expect. It boils water really, really fast. And the flame logo changes color to let you know when your water is done boiling too!

I actually used this as a rental, so the only thing keeping this from a five star rating was that the igniter didn't work. But again, it's a rental so who knows how old it really was, or what it had been through. Plus, that was rectified easily with a lighter, or a flaming stick from my fire.

Jet Boil Pot

We currently have an older model Jet Boil that we absolutely love. I purchased this newer model as an additional one to leave in our camp gear bag. Heats quickly, easy cleanup. A must have for any outdoor activities.

The classic, durable and easy

I should mention I actually have the PCS, which is the precursor to this stove. It is about 11 years old now and I still use it on a regular basis backpacking. All I do is boil water for Mountain House meals, oatmeal, and sometimes hot chocolate. I have burnt the bottom of mine by heating up premixed hot coco, and cooking oatmeal(actually my buddy...not me). So, as long as you are only boiling water or water-like substances(like ramen) you will be totally good. Ease of use, reliability, and weight savings over more complicated systems keep me from using and buying anything else for boiling water. Buy it, you won't regret it.
