Most Helpful Positive Review Kelly Kettles are Awesome!
I have purchased a lot of different camping stoves. Primarily for boiling water and cooking small meals. I have Solo Stoves, Emberlit, Bushbox and Firebox backpacking stoves, Primus multi-fuel stoves, Propane stoves of various types, Alcohol burners, etc. You name it, I probably have one. But, for pure efficiency and safety using a wood burning stove, nothing beats the Kelly Kettle. The Kelly Kettle will boil water, using less fuel, in a shorter time than any other stove I own. Plus, it will do it with less fuel than I could have ever imagined. And, with the Hobo stove sitting on top of the fi...

Ingenious design, quality product

by noname, from ME, United States Written on January 30, 2019
Absolutely love it. Everything from the quality materials, to the nesting design (everything fits within itself), to the performance is top notch. We went with the stainless steel Scout because we felt the stainless steel would be more durable. Very easy setup, incredibly fast heat. We originally purchased it for packing on our snowsleds to heat water on the trail for hot cocoa and instant soup, but I can see this getting year round use!
Pros:
  • durable
  • Easy and fast setup
  • Compact design
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • HIKING
  • snowmobiling
  • trail riding

Kelly Kettle Scout

by Connie, from BC, Canada Written on December 17, 2018
The Kelly Kettle is well constructed. Was bigger than I expected and may be too large for day hiking but excellent for longer hikes where more cooking is required. Did not purchase the additional cook wear but this was a mistake as you need the accessories to benefit from this unit and will do so shortly. Hopefully, the quality is the same as the Kettle.

Item arrived early, staff answered questions and corrected purchase error i made before shipping. Item was as described, fully functional and best price anywhere. Only complaint i can muster is a attachment sold separately was not in stock, i could not pre order it.

This Is The Newer KK Model!!

by Tim H., Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on March 16, 2016
I will amend this review after I've actually used the product, but for those wondering... This IS the newer tack welded version of the Kelly Kettle that eliminated the problematic (leaking) pop rivets at the handle and chain attachment points, not the older model pictured here. Add a Hobo stove and you should be ready for whatever adventure awaits.

This is a great deal if you want the basic KK without all the pricey add-on equipment.

Kelly Kettle

by Jay W., Written on February 29, 2016
I have been looking for something like this for a long time. I wanted a way to make tea and hot chocolate when we are out in the woods together but didnt want to build a full fire or carry a stove. Now I have it. It works just like is advertised, it will boil in just about two or three minutes using only small available fuel. There was one thing about it though but it's not a big deal to me. I filled the kettle up to the stopper to see how watertight the unit is and I let it sit overnight. In the morning there was a very small ring of water around the base where some had leaked out of the kettle. I was hoping to be able to fill the kettle and use it to transport water in my pack to help save space. After this little experiment i might still try it and later I went on Kelly Kettle's web site and found some information buried on one of the pages stating the unit was not intended to act as a transporting vessel. It does not really change how i feel about the kit, I just wish I knew this going into it. I also should have picked up the pot stand that goes in the top as I can see where this would come in real handy. On the whole, we will be getting years of use out of this one.

Xmas gift

by Miranda b., from ME, United States Written on December 5, 2015
I have not opened the box yet as its a gift for my husband.

I will say that campsaver has not responded to my reach out email after not receiving the stove when the website said it had been delivered and it was no where to be found. This was about a week ago. I had to Google my tracking number to find that it was to be delivered a few days later.

I have it... I'm sure my husband will love it. Not impressed with campsaver's customer service.
