Waterproof and Comfortable.Good grip. Robust.
I own several pairs of hiking shoes. The Trango Trk is my best experience. Light, comfortable, very good grip.
This has been my most reliable and favorite boot i have owned

Fit well and lightweight for mountaineering boot

I purchased these boots for an upcoming trip to the North Cascades. They fit well and aren't overly heavy for the type of trip I'll be on. They should allow for miles of hiking but have the ability to put on crampons when needed. Unfortunately, they are probably not the best boot for backpacking or hikes of local mountains in the Adirondacks where I live unless used as a winter boot.

Great trekking boot -- but a little narrow

This is a terrific looking trekking boot that appears to be well constructed. Unfortunately, the toe box seems a little narrow and consequently the boot feels like it constricts the top of the foot. It helps that La Sportiva uses European sizing, with half-sizes available, so there are more sizing choices. However, it's too bad that La Sportiva doesn't make their boots in wide sizes.
