Most Helpful Positive Review Review of size/fit, construction and styling
I have not yet had the occasion to to wear this jacket in appropriate weather, so my review is only as to fit/size, construction and styling. I am 5'9" and I usually wear US size 8-10/medium. I had read reviews on another site that this jacket runs a little large. It is large enough for me to wear a thinner fleece underneath it, but it is not oversized. It seemed just a little tight under the arm when it had the additional layer under it, but not tight enough for me to exchange it for size. Best Rain Jacket

This coat fits perfectly. It is very comfortable, light did not make me over heat during 5 mile walk. Other rain jackets make me sweat this dod not. Love the color too. I am 5'1" 107 lbs the XS fits better than expected.

Just what I needed

Living in NYC, I have a lot of stylish clothing that doesn’t do much in the way of protection when the weather gets rough (sorry Parajumpers). Decided to up my game with this little beauty that is vibrant, well constructed, and fits perfectly without being tight. I am 5’2” and 110 lbs and the XS is the ideal fit with room to layer. Fabulous that it is light and foldable without wrinkling, so I can stuff in a bag and carry anytime the weatherman says 30% chance of rain.

Awesome rain coat

I researched rain coats, materials, and style before I bought this one. The Gore Tex material and taped seams will prevent water from penetrating through. However, I have not worn it in the rain - due to no rain. The material is soft, not plastic like. The style is long to protect thigh and hood is good size to cover. Happy with purchase,

Marmot Essential Women’s jacket

Very well made and light. Loved the color, the length and the fit.
Will be my new “go to” raincoat for walks in the rain.
Perfect to use for travel, as the coat folds up very small.
This coat has more style than most other raincoats. It has a slightly fitted waist but there is still plenty of room for a sweater or light fleece. The zipper on the coat is very sturdy, and the Velcro strips keep the coat tightly closed during heavy rains.

Elegant coat- great deal!

By far, the most flattering rain coat. Tried Many- Hellly Hensen, North Face, Etc etc Bought XS. I am 5 feet, 105 lbs. Can wear to work and hiking. Great price on this site- chose Monsoon, a soft light purple.

Shipping Delayed

My placing order was 20th Dec., 2016, but actually shipping was 29th Dec., 2016. Generally, shipping delay should be allowed due to Christmas season, but my opinion is too delayed.
