What were they thinking
The front and pit zippers are very difficult to move, requiring one to hold the end opposite of the direction of travel. Also the pull tabs are very small and hard to grip. Both of these shortcomings require one to remove gloves to zip up or down in cold snowy weather in the backcountry. Otherwise t...

Marmot- spend 75 cents to make this a great jacket.
I bought this jacket as a replacement for my 2007 Exum Jacket, since I will were this daily for bike commuting in Germany, were it rains often and is windy more often. I wanted Gore Tex Pro Shell for durability. Athletic fit is good, I am 6' and 225 lbs, an XL is perfect. New Pro Shell is crunchier ...

Nice Gore-Tex raincoat
My Marmot Speed Light raincoat is working out very well, so far. I like the features that make the jacket perform better in the mountains, like the wire brim, pit zips, water resistant pockets, and the movement-friendly cut. So far, very good, and I'm looking forward to getting stuck out in the rain with it often.

Light and fits right
I'm 5'8" 168 lb and the medium size jacket has enough space to wear a light puffy underneath. A little snug in the chest area but it is an athletic fit jacket. Solid jacket so far.

Great Technical Shell
Gore-tex Pro, super light, super simple jacket. Slimmer fit than some of the other shells out there- but still accommodates base plus fleece midlayer. Should work well across a range of uses- hiking, mountaineering, even snowboarding with layers.
Just a simple brilliant piece of equipment. And campsaver.com had the best price and was easy to work with.

Great Value for Gore-Tex Pro
Need to add hanging loop in collar area, would like pockets to be a bit higher to avoid problems with harness and backpack belt (but they are higher than most jackets). Easy one opening and closing of pit zips. Love the feel of the inside of the Gore-Tex Pro material. High chest pocket perfect for phone, small camera, energy bars. Cuffs easy to adjust and stay put.

Not at all waterproof
This is a good jacket EXCEPT for one major shortcoming. The pockets leak like a hole in a roof and collect water in only moderate rain. On two recent hikes the pockets acted more like buckets and are not at all waterproof. Whether this is a design flaw or a problem with my jacket I am yet to find out
