Bushcrafting and equipment enthusiast! 40-50lb base wt + 12 overnights so far = NOT A SCRATCH ON IT!
This is my first MR pack.
I did a TON of online research and talked with at least 8-12 AT hikers about their packs (Osprey, Z-pack, Gregory, etc).
Ultimately - I like to bring equipment and gear with me: hatchet, folding saw, extra paracord/rope, fly rod w/tube + reel + small fly box, hammock+tarp+underquilt, sleeping bag (depending on temps), pack chair (Helinox swivel), work gloves, extra tarp for "camp tarp", walkie-talkies (sometimes), water filter, stove/fuel, food, snacks, mug, clothing, warm layer, dop kit, etc.
I can fit everything in/on this pack WITHOUT needing the overload/expans...

For larger loads and multi-day trips, look to the Mystery Ranch Terraframe 3-Zip 50 Pack for your ge
Mystery Ranch designed these Multi-Day Packs (50-75L) with their signature OVERLOAD feature that uses a load sling between the pack and the frame to optimize comfort by strategically placing the bulk of the weight closest to your back. The Mystery Ranch Terraframe 3-Zip 50 Bag also features the Terraframe frame system that can support heavy loads while moving with you for the most comfortable experience possible. These bags are built with the classic 3-ZIP design that allows you to quickly access your gear on-the-go, and the 3L hydration reservoir pocket against the frame allows you to stay hydrated with a drinking tube above your shoulders. Pick up a Mystery Ranch Terraframe 3-ZIP 50 Backpack to safely carry large amounts of gear without putting significant stress on your body.image

Superb Build Quality!
Mystery Ranch is Dana Gleason, of Dana Design, who made some of the best packs ever. This quality continues with Mystery Ranch. This pack is bomber durable, very well built, balanced, and super comfortable. I’m knocking it a star for one reason. This is one of the heaviest packs you will find. It also lacks some of the torso adjustments other pack companies have. If those aren’t issues for you, and you try one of these packs on, you will buy the pack of a lifetime.
Pros:
- COMFORT
- Build quality
Cons:
- Heavy
Best Used for:
- Long backpacking trips

This is the pack you are looking for
The quality of this pack is very high. The fit is excellent. The materials and workmanship are great. The size is a nice balance between a fast and light day hiking pack and a large size expedition pack. Sometimes its just to hard to get the basics in a 32-37 liter pack. This pack seems to be just about right for weekend outings. It can be synched down pretty easily. The profile is pretty slim.
