The Cirque feels like a burly trail runner: breathable, comfortable, light, and flexible. The proprietary Oboz footbed is supportive and, for my foot, more comfortable than similar products from competitors. Although the toebox is roomy--in a good way--the lacing system hugs my foot, leaving me feeling secure and confident on descents. The Cirque is a great shoe and will be my "fast and light" shoe for hikes of any length.

It is still too early to tell for sure how these will wear long term, but my first impressions are great. This is my first pair of Oboz, and I have to say these not only look good and feel good but have a surprising amount of support around the heel area and at the top of the foot which is nice. These seem to run true to size, I was able to order my "normal size and they fit great.

These have a strong grip and I feel very solid and comfortable when walking in them. I've only had these out in the snow and wet city conditions recently, not on the trail yet, but I have no reason to doubt they will be great on the trail too! The mesh over the top of the foot is breathable allowing for ventilation on the feet which will be nice for hiking in warm weather. Just keep that in mind for colder times, a thicker pair of socks has worked fine for me so far.

Overall, I think this is a high-quality shoe that I will enjoy a lot of use from.

The show was competitively priced and arrived promptly. It lived up to all the reviews. I am hard on shoes and wear them out quickly which makes my knees hurt. My knees immediately felt better the minute I put these shoes on. Great support. Also the neon green was not at bright as it appears in pictures. Very good looking shoe in person.
