I spent weeks, probably like you are right now, looking for packs. I cannot tell you how satisfied I am with this pack. Carries EXTREMELY well, by far the most comfortable pack I've used. Worth every dollar. Lifetime warranty. What else could you want? I went with 85L and am glad I did. The top/ daypack is worth $50 by itself. Osprey really thought this one through.

This is a busy backpack with straps and buckles, lots of options for securing equipment. Waist pockets are big, I can fit a Pentax WG-II camera with room to spare.
Can't mount snowshoes to the sides of pack, I have a hard time strapping my MSR Lightening ascent snowshoes to the front, the straps are to short, Had no problem with the Gregory Baltoro that I was using.

Bought this pack to replace an Atmos 65 that I bought from Campsaver 4 years ago, which was great and served its purpose, but needed something a little bigger. Have only used it for a weekend event and it was great. Looking forward to a week long trip in a few months. Fit was great and plenty of options to adjust anything as needed.

I tried this pack and found it to be light weight and the fit was perfect. The hip straps took all the weight off my shoulders. I can carry everything I want in this pack and have tie offs for any extras.

Bought a medium and took it on an overnight to start breaking in the padding for a much larger trip later. Everything felt great. Plenty of storage capacity especially since I prefer o bring a few extras with me. Could definitely use more external pockets such as hip belt pockets and a couple on the front. J-panel access is great.

Well this is my first osprey pack I have purchased and couldn't be happier... The pack fits just right for me with a medium pack and medium belt, I'm 5' 11'' and 155 lbs.... I plan to use the pack to hold camping and fishing gear for a 4 day hike on the laurel ridge trail in pa.. The pack has plenty of room with all my gear and rods strapped to pack and never did it feel uncomfortable when I was d
