Most Helpful Negative Review Regarding the Design...
This bag didn’t work for me. The anti-gravity system suspended the pack too far away from my back. As a result it pushed my center of gravity back and I felt as if I was going to fall backwards. It just didn’t feel safe so I ended up returning it.

This is my first backpacking bag and I am so glad I got it. Great design and I am able to fit everything I need. Bear canister, sleeping bag and pad, clothing, chair, tent, accessories and and still have room available on the external carrying capabilities

Great backpack

I've had this bag for 3 years now. I use it to go to the Sierras from 3-5 day trips and I also use it locally for weekend trip with out Boy Scout Troop. This bag has never let me down! I love it! I'll never use another bag!! As for the Warranty.... absolutely stellar!! My bag developed a squeak that became louder and more annoying over time. I called customer service they said to send it in. They sent me a brand new bag!! This is what keeps people loyal to your product! Great customer service!

Best decision ever!

I bought this bag over a month ago to travel around South Africa, needles to say with the current virus situation my trip was cut short. However for the four days I travelled with this bag I absolutely loved it, very comfortable, so light you barely no its there and the capacity was more than enough needed for what would had been a 3 week trip

Osprey Atmos AG 50 Backpack - Men's

I have had this pack over a year and I love it. It is not the lightest pack I own but it is the most comfortable. It would not work for a week long hike with no chance to resupply but for 2-3 days it is the perfect size. I do wish though it came with a rain cover. This pack is not cheap and many other less expensive packs include this option.
Pros:
  • comfort and breathability
Cons:
  • small belt pockets
Best Used for:
  • short to medium hikes

Great bag. Comfy straps lots of room and well layed out. I can fir everything i need for a 3-4 day trek in it including my tent . Hip pockets fit my phone which is an iphone6s . Great also for snacks or anything you need quickly. Light weight and one of my fav. Packs

Cons:
  • Doesnt come with rain cover but they arent that expensive either

  • Hiking or back packing

Nice pack for the money

I was looking to downsize my pack from a 75L to a 50L so I done my research and watched a lot of YouTube videos and decided to purchase the Osprey Atmos AG. Haven’t tried it out yet, but will be hiking with AT in April and can’t wait!

Used on Inca Trail

I used this pack to hike 4 days on the Inca Trail in Peru. It is super comfortable. I was carrying about 30 pounds. I used it with a bladder for water. The pockets on the waist strap are very useful as is the elasticated pocket on the rear of the pack. The pack is very adjustable to allow for the right fit which was important when navigating up and down steps where center of gravity needs to be right on. I highly recommend.

Great pack!

Got this pack after trying several from other brands. Just can't beat the comfort of this pack when it is on. Yes it is a little heavy at 4 pounds, but the comfort makes up for it. Plus the holster water bottle holders keep me from having to be a contortionist when trying to take a drink!
