My Everyday Sack

This is an outstanding day pack. Tough, durable, padded shoulder straps...... just big enough to carry what one needs for the day whether it be in the country or city.
In addition to a spacious main compartment, this pack has 2 zippered front compartments with excellent organizational features. It also has two side stretch mesh pockets for drink bottles or whatever you choose to put in them for qu

Osprey Quasar Pack

The Osprey Quasar 30 pack has 1800 cu in capacity. It bridges the gap between work & after work. It is also a reasonably decent pack for short hikes and vacation travel. It will hold a laptop & papers, or rain gear, extra food and even an extra layer. This pack has many uses. It has the bungy cord strap system on the front, in case you need to add a last minute item -- jacket, top, swim suit, etc.

Bulky - not as expected

by Nick, Written on December 12, 2013
I returned as soon as I recieved this. I expected something lighter. It also looked like the side pockets would not hold a nalgene.

Daypack manufacturers...ugh frustrating, here's what I'd want:
- Light backpacks (water resistant/water proof)
- Solid, straight (old style) shoulder straps
- 2 pockets on the side that can hold nalgene water bottles - or any water bottles
