Highly Recommend the Osprey Transporter
Osprey quality. Great Design. Durable Fabric. Strong zippers. Colorful lining to help see small objects. Well-placed pockets. Good straps. There is nothing not to like here.

This backpack holds a lot and is well constructed. Used it for a two week safari and was not disappointed!

Great, does work as a carry on!
Great bag for traveling. Everything has a purpose and it has just the right amount of pockets. Yes, the shoulder straps aren't the best but they're good enough for getting around the airport and to the hotel (which is my main use for it). If you don't stuff it, it works as a carry on. Bought it to replace a medium TNF duffel which can be too bulky and stiff - I like the Osprey as a travel bag better. Final nit pick - the main compartment's zipper can be a bit sticky to zip and unzip at times.

Excellent duffel, fulfils all my needs
This is an excellent duffel. I also have an Osprey backpack. They have done a good job here. I was looking for bag mainly for travel. Looked at TNF bascamp and Patagonia black hole duffels, but went with this softer duffel. This suits my needs. This duffel can be carried as a backpack which is a plus. It looks smaller because it is shorter, but wide and has enough space for a 2 week trip. I have not travelled much with it so durability is unknown for now. Hence the four stars.
