Great jacket for a great price
Great jacket for a great price.
I looked at the same jacket while staying in Vail this fall. I looked up the same jacket online in the store and saved close to $40 total on the purchase by buying from CampSaver. Needless to say they will be recieving more of my business.

Arms are TIGHT and NOT warm to wear
Bought this on sale ;)
XL fits relatively well but it's meant to be worn AS a sweater in place of a fleece or wool sweater/jacket.
Tried wearing a longsleeved rugby shirt with the snap-T and it was tight around the shoulders/arm pit area and the arms had almost NO room. Replaced the snap-T with a li...

Patagonia Down Sweater - Mens - French Red XL
Bought it on clearance since it was prior season's color of French Red which looks stunning.
The jacket fits relatively well though it's meant as a light jacket or heavy sweater. You can wear a long sleeve undershirt and up to a midweight fleece sweater underneath to keep warm. Otherwise, the shoulder area gets tight. The down sweater goes down to the waist.
It's relatively warm especially when worn over layers and can be worn down to the low-mid 40s F and it does block out some wind.
The handpockets are roomy enough to hold fleece gloves which is a must during the cold, wintry months and provides some warmth as it's designed behind the goose layer of the jacket.
You can roll it up and stuff it into one off the hand pockets which makes it convenient.
The outer nylon shell is a bit thin so be careful as it can get snagged and will rip.
The jacket does get dirty over time but throw it into the washer using a down cleaner or even gentle detergent and baking soda and run on gentle spin then fluff dry with some dryer balls to fluff out the down. May have to hand dry if it's still a bit moist.

Amazing Down Jacket
This is by far the best down jacket I've ever owned. It's super duper warm and super compact. It's the best bang for your money when comparing the quality and fill compared to other manufacturers. Highly recommend you get this jacket!
Pros:
- Warmth
Cons:
- None

Great jacket
A little tight around the waist for a small but great jacket overalll. Light and warm! Its also not bulky so you can pack it into the pocket of the jacket and carry it around. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a winter jacket. When it gets really cold you need to layer a hoody underneath.

Nice jacket
I bought this jacket for my husband and he really likes it. Warm, light weight, and attractive, it could be used as a mid-layer in colder temperatures. I do think part of the price is the Patagonia name, but overall we are happy with it. The blue stripes are subtte and look great. We bought a large and it fits him well (5'10", 165.)

Can’t go wrong
I use the down sweater vest under a shell currently. I decided to buy this one to help on the cooler days. I would recommend this for sure. Grabbed a large and it fits well(6ft 180lb). Get out there.
