The Petzl E+Lite is the ideal emergency light source to keep in your backpack or hydration pack for those long days that may start or end in the dark. It has sufficient power to keep you confident during night hikes or runs.

Much brighter than the previous model and still small and light. Only complaint is a small one - this updated model is now black and harder to find in my pack.

Great light and reliable backup headlamp. I'll have it with me anytime I hit the trail.

Super light head lamp. With simple string that wraps around the head, there is no sweating under the usual headband. Highly recommended.

Excellent. Get 4 of them and give to my relatives. I am camper leaving in concrete jungle in megalopolis where we have underground tube (metro in Moscow). So far so good, but you never know if train will be stopped and you have to leave it in the dark trough the tunnel. It is so light so I decide to add it to EDC (every day carry) of my family members. It perfectly works for camping as well. Do not forget to get extra batteries. Lion can be stored for up to 10 years depending on temperature you leave. Number of extra batteries depends on how many days you want to have light in case of camping or emergency. Highly recommend. The only thing you might need to know is that if to wear it on the head for a long time, you most probably get line from the rope due to it is very thin, which will disappear after you take it off in a couple of minutes. Not a problem for me.

I love this thing. It weighs about the same as a key chain light but is so much more functional. I bring this with me instead of my big headlamp (by comparison at least) all the time now. It is all you need and the replacement batteries are so much lighter to carry than AAA or AA. Simply amazing for its size and weight.

Works well as a trail light for the 1st 15 minutes, then it works well as a chore light.
It makes a great emergency light for day hikes, and a chore light on backpacking trips. You can conserve your night hiking lamps batteries and use this for chores.

I love this light. Always looking to lighten my day pack and multi-day pack base weights. This headlamp is great for an emergency light in my day pack and bright enough for my multi-day trips too. The red light option is a nice addition to preserve night time vision.

I upgraded from an old skool Petzl Tikka.
The E-lite is as bright if not brighter.
I don't need a light that can send an S.O.S signal to the NASA space station. Just something i can use around camp.
It feels comfortable/durable and the bonus water tight case i believe is great value!
The CR2032 Batts are very lightweight and much cheaper than AAA/AA if you know where to look. ;)
