I bought this jacket primarily for a 3 day backwoods winter hiking/camping.The temperature never got above 35 degrees and this jacket held up great! I would definitely recommend this jacket, even at full price.

Lightweight, warm.
I of course would prefer side pockets on a fastener, the warmed and ksilenny zone of a chin, but these are my preferences. :)
Perfectly is suitable for the city in the winter. To -5 on Celsius from easy fleece jackets.

Great all around jacket.

I was looking for a down jacket that was a little warmer and more water repellant than my REI CoOp jacket. This one fits the bill perfectly! The shell is strong and doesn't easily snag on brush. It sheds light rain with ease and is just warm enough. The hood is lined with comfy fabric.
For me, the sizing isn't perfect. I wear a large in everything else. The large size of this jacket was just too big and bulky so I got the medium which is just barely too small. Not too small to wear, just not perfectly comfortable.

warm and stylish

I got this jacket a year ago as a gift and love it. I am 5'9" and 145lbs with a very trim build. I have a medium and I love the fit, though i do like my jackets to fit a bit big, so it is certainly a little loose. This jacket does have a DWP finish so I will wear it in just about anything but a downpour. This jacket is definitely more casual than active and it is a bit boxy and less fitted than some of the marmot and mammut basic down jackets I have worn. Overall I love this jacket.

Good Product

Really like this coat. Warm, yet compact. Feels well built. This has become my go to jacket that I grab for all weather conditions (Rain, snow, sleet, wind). Very happy with my purchase, and Campsaver has great customer service.
