Most Helpful Positive Review No Disapointments!
I enjoy camping and backpacking stoves . . . liquid fuel in particular. I own a number of the various stove brands, including, MSR, Optimus, Jetboil, Soto, Coleman and Svea. While I had been aware of Primus, I was satisfied with the range of stoves I had, and hadn't seen where any of Primus' attri...

Most Helpful Negative Review Some good... some not so
Well made and when running (clean) it has high output and also simmers well. It is lightweight and the stove folds small to store inside a small pot. However my nickname for this stove is that it's "my expensive Swedish watch". It is well engineered... almost too much so. What do I mean? Along th...

This is a great little stove

by AK Hiker, Verified Owner from AK, United States Written on March 2, 2024
Having previously used gas stoves only, I wasn't sure how easy the transition to liquid fuel stoves would be. I needn't have worried about it. The Omni Lite is a well put together, but light weight, stove that is easy to use. A few trial runs at the house and I was ready to take it out into the woods. The start up sequence is a breeze to get used to and it puts out a lot of heat at full throttle. Glad I went with this on.
Pros:
  • Easy to use
  • Light weight & minimal space.
Cons:
  • Loud

Great product

by Aleks, Verified Owner from DE, United States Written on July 7, 2021
I am very happy with the burner and the price I bought it at Sampsaver.com. The burner is quite light - 220 grams. Thus, it can be used with small gas cylinders. If the conditions are more severe, such as cold, high altitude in the mountains, then adding another 196 grams to the pump canister, you can use low-octane gasoline and kerosene. I also want to note the very smooth flame control. I tried using a burner and found that at an average flame output the fuel consumption was approximately 1.5 grams per minute for bottled gas and 3 grams per minute for gasoline. Boiling water largely depends on the dishes used (the size of the bottom and the presence of a radiator) and averages 4-6 minutes per 500 ml of water. Great product!
