Most Helpful Positive Review I never knew I needed a liner
Before trying these liners out I really never understood why people would wear two pairs of socks. I quicky understood why. These socks are so lightweight and you hardly even notice them under your heavier wool socks.

Warm Feet!

The "Smartwool" socks are great just what I needed. I have never had a problem with them in the last 15 years. However the service from Campsaver was not good. it took almost four weeks to fulfill the order and there was not a lot of communication about the delay. Do not be in a hurry.

Good socks

These socks are great, but definitely just a liner. They are very thin but still fairly warm. They kind of look more like a dress sock, but the serve well for their design function. Not quite want I expected, but still good.

Liner socks

I like these socks. They don’t have the softest material but I feel they perform better than other liner socks I’ve worn. When hiking they are very comfortable. I bought a size smaller because they stretch a lot on my feet.

Great hiking sock

Just the right amount of cushion. Doesn't stink. Drying time is decent for a mostly wool blend sock.

Great wool socks, but too thick to be hiker liners

These are high-quality, comfortable wool socks from which I will get a lot of mileage. However, they are way too thick for me to use as liners. They are about the same thickness as the standard warm weather hikers. In addition, they are "grabby" and don't allow other socks to slide past them, which is a terrible characteristic for a liner sock. I can't recommend these as liners, but I can definitely recommend them as regular socks.

Excellent socks

I know these are sock liners, but I like wool socks for work, so I buy black sock liners and get several years out of them. They look like dress socks. Feet don't get cold, nor sweaty. Mission accomplished.

Wearable with almost any shoe

I like to use this sock when the smartwool hiking socks are too thick. I can wear them with dress shoes or just by themselves.
