PhD Run Light Elite Micro Sock-Mens's
Bought these for my 17 yr. old son, who has sweaty feet, and to go with his 1st pair of quality leather walking shoes for a trip to France with his school. The 1st pair bought at the shoe store; wore them home with the new shoes. He said “Wow! Theses socks are great, my feet are drier, they are very comfortable, and not soaking wet when I take them off." The Easter Bunny gave him 4 more pairs (which was my way of justifying the cost) but now know they are worth the hefty price. Great socks
Love these socks. Comfortable, cushioned but not too thick. Just great socks.

Great socks, color combos change too fast
I wear these socks for a lot of things.
It started as my go to sock for wearing with running shoes as they were intended. Where it became a game changer was with my golf shoes by having that bit of extra padding when you walk 18 (or 36). They work great too with sneakers or athletic shoes and shorts again because the extra cushion even in the light cushion model.
I wish Smartwool would stick to color schemes as it's often hard to add to "sets" of certain color schemes as you acquire more over the years.

I wouldn't run with these
Got this as a freebie with a pair of approach shoes. They fit small (medium supposedly fits up to size 8.5 which is my running shoe size, but they were too small) so I gave them to my wife (size 6 womens and they fit her fine), but even if they fit me I would not have used them for running. Too thick --- I prefer using super thin acrylic socks for running.
