Great pad for the price
It's hard to beat this pad in terms of weight, R value (warmth), and durability. It doesn't look rugged, but I've slept on this pad for several weeks and used it extensively in my Trekker chair, with no leaks so far. And that's saying something since I weigh around 200 lbs. It's my go to sleeping pad for cycletouring. Would be nice if it was thicker than 1"; several other companies have thicker pads, including Thermarest, but of course they're more expensive.

Better than you think
Just like the title states, better than you think. This is an often overlooked gem in the distance hiking community. Why waste energy waving your arms around like a wild gorilla trying to catch air when you can kick back and watch your pad inflate itself... 10/10 imo.
Pros:
- Warm, comfortable, lightweight, durable
- The best value
Cons:
- Doesn't haul my pack for me
Best Used for:
- Babkpacking, car camping

Best value Thermarest Mat
Maybe it's not the most comfortable mat to sleep on bit for the price and given the R-Value - you can't beat it. It comes with compression sack, so you can toss in inside your backpack and hang it with carabiner outside. Very compact!
Pros:
- Lightweight
- budget
- R value
Cons:
- not very comfy
Best Used for:
- Backpacking
Would recommend: Yes
Good for camping starter and side sleeping
I think it is the best sleeping pad at this price and the build quality very well. You will feel comfortable when sleeping on it. But you also feel your back pain next day or waking up in the middle of the night(side sleep is fine). because the thickness too thin—Just 1"
I recommend for camping starter, woman and thin body. (my wife feedback is well)
And, the included packing bag too big. actually, it can be compressed into tiny

Trail Scout Sleep Pad
Tried it on the floor. Feels better than our foam pad also lighter weight. We'll see how it feels on the ground in the back country of Yosemite National Park...

A good choice
A comfortable self-inflating sleeping pad in high quality but at an affordable price suits for all “limited budget” backpackers.

THIN AND SHORT
TOO THIN AND SHORT - SHOULD BE CLEARLY ADVERTISED AS FOR YOUTH. BASED PURCHASE ON FINE REPUTATION OF THERMAREST - DISAPPOINTED

Great Budget Sleeping Pad
I've been impressed with this pad so far! This is easily the best pad for the price you pay for it! Used them in temperatures around 30 degrees and neither my wife nor I felt any chill from the ground. Not to mention they are quite a bit more comfortable than a closed cell foam pad.

Great Pad
I bought this pad on a recommendation of a co- worker and it's really comfortable. It rolls up tighter than any other pad that i've used. Can't say too much for warmth since I've only used it in spring weather, but it was fine then. I'm a pretty big guy so i bough the large and I probably could have gone with a smaller size. And now with a little more hindsight i probably would have bough the pro
