Burn time
I average 13.5 to 14 hours per single burn. No drip, no smell, no mess. What more could you ask from a 9 hour candle?

Beexwax Candles, 3 Pack
The 100% beeswax candles, 3 pack are so very fine, with lovely smell of beeswax that purifies the surround. I leave mine on for a few hours during allergy season, as it helps clean the air of pollens. It has a warm light. I also use it for meditation. I love my beeswax candles

I've gotten 11+ hours out of these if I don't let the wax spill out or use the knockoff candles.
I've seen multiple reviews around of people complaining about wax going everywhere and I've never had that happen in the 10+ years of using these in UCO lamps. So I'm not sure if they are using these in knock off lanterns with a different design, or if they are handling them so the wax spills or what. But just like any candle you are not burning the wick, but the vapor of the wax as it melts. So if let the wax spill you are essentially spilling out the fuel. Used properly in the lamp you get a small puddle, don't spill that and it will burn for 9+ hours.
Use mine for winter camping as a safer way to generate some extra heat without fear of burning my tent or monoxide poising. I also like it as a means of having soft ambient light without the need for a ton of batteries. I also keep a backup in the car during the winter as a part of my emergency winter kit.
Can't beat Camp savers sale price on three of these for 27 hours of light and hours of gentle warmth.

Didn't burn as advertized
The first time I use the lantern the candle burned for 5 hours. A lot of wax just melted and collected around the base of the candle holder. It leaked slightly and was a real PAIN to get the candle changed out. I am hoping that this was the "break in" period for the unit.
