I'm 6'2" tall, 210 pounds, and I like taller, roomier (made in the USA) Western Mountaineering (WM) bags from Campsaver. The lightest bag I had was the 7' WM Badger GWS (great bag), but it weighs 3 pounds. Heavy for summer backpacking. I wanted the 6'-6" WM 30F Megalite at 1.6 pounds but Campsaver did not have it in stock. I backordered a Western Mountaineering bag from Campsaver once, never got it, they finally cancelled my order. So, I don't backorder WM sleeping bags. The 6-6" 20F Alpenlite is 2.1 pounds and was miraculously 20% off. I couldn't resist and bought it. Just got the bag and realized it's stamped "overfill". 3 oz. of extra down I wasn't expecting (bag is now 2.3 pounds). Western Mountaineering says temperature rating drops 3F to 5F with overfill. Now it's a 17F to 15F bag. Circumference: at shoulders 65", at hips 56", at feet 39". Roomy and comfortable. Western Mountaineering bags, when rated at a temperature, it's good to that temperature or lower. This bag has a full-length zipper, and it's 12 ounces lighter than my WM Badger GWS. If it gets unexpectedly cold at high altitude (which has happened) I'm covered. It has a draw cord to tighten hood around your head. Reinforced fabric ends on the zipper to prevent snagging. I snagged the zipper right below the reinforcement first time trying to unzip it. Pulled the outer fabric out of the zipper and it went the rest of the way down easily. No damage.
