Product Info for Solo Stove Lite

The Solo Stove story began with this little stove. Two brothers wanted to create an ultralight camp stove that could boil water in under 10 minutes using sticks and twigs as fuel.image

The original super-efficient, ultralight Solo Stove.

Solo Stove Lite is for those who are ready to roam, get a quick pot of water boiling, and get back on the trail. Weighing less than a pound, Lite is the perfect ultra-light camp stove to keep your pack light and ready to go without having to bring along fuel.

Lite lets you enjoy an efficient flame using nothing more than sticks and twigs you find along the trail. their Signature 360degree Airflow Design draws in air through the lower vent holes which heats up inside Lites double-wall construction. The heated air ignites after leaving the upper vent holes, creating a spectacular secondary burn. That means a hotter fire with less smoke!

Compact and easy to use. Can also hold as alcohol stove as a secondary system if wood is not readily available. I appreciate having that secondary capability. Burns well provided the sticks are cut down to fit the stove. Start with smaller sticks and move up. The pot will accumulate soot but it is not a problem if you are aware of it. Burns well to boil water and with practice ...

I love this stove. It's lightweight, durable and fun to use if you like playing with fire:) .. You have to give it a lot of attention by constantly feeding the fire bc the flame can go out pretty quick. I have this stove combo'd with the GSI halulite cookset. The stove fits in the pot with just one of the bowls. And inside I also keep a fire starting kit. It works well on windy...

Just got back from the 72 mile High Sierra trail and this stove worked excellant on a lot of different conditions. Not only is it super light but twigs are easy to find even when it rains. I averaged 8-10 minutes to boil a liter of water. This stove even worked well on the top of Mt. Whitney , I just switched to solid fuel pellets and got a boil in about 12 minutes. It helps if...

Q Is a 1.8L pot too big for the original solo stove or should I get the Titan? I have the GSI Pinnacle duelist cookset and I don't want the pot to sit unevenly on the stove. Or to take too long to heat up a bigger pot of water.
A

The titan would be more appropriate and efficient however you could get away with a 1,8 liter on the original it would just take longer to boil water
