1,000 extra BTUs

I have used a SnowPeak GigaPower for many years and trips. It is a great stove, but for 1,000 extra BTU’s The WindMaster is going to save fuel, save space and weight, and stay out longer.

Brought this little guy (instead of MSR whisperlite to save weight) for a short overnight trip in the past few days. Worked like a charm with the ground temperature about 5 degree at ~ 3000' elevation. The flame did go weaker overtime due to the lack of insinuation between the canister and ground. Warming up the canister with hand quickly revived the flame and speed up the boil...

Works Great

I really liked the stove. It is very fast and the piezo worked consistently up to 12,500 feet. It simmers very well but because the burner head is very small there is a hot spot in the center of the pan and you have to keep stirring if you don't want food to burn. It still needs some kind of wind protection in strong winds.
