I've only used this rope in a couple of canyons so far and have loved it. It's so high and packs down small. You can go for long hauls and not worry about all the additional weight. The only warning about this rope is that it does rappel fast because of it's this diameter but we absolutely loved it.

I've used many different ropes over nearly 400 canyon trips now, and the Sterling Canyon Lux is my "go to" rope for all my serious canyon adventures. It's light, strong, packs well (subtle), and has enough stretch to greatly reduce shock loading on marginal anchors.
