I use this to backpack for a couple nights at a time, and so far absolutely love it! Its super light and small about the size of nalgene bottle when rolled up. Its incredibly warm I last was sleeping in my 0 degree sleeping bag on a -5 night and I was just perfectly toasty. I was quite shocked that a good thermarest could make that big of a difference as I have an old almost or... Read more

When I lay down on the pad, I could just feel the heat re-radiating from my torso, it was great. However, this pad is quite noisy/crinkly, so for example on a recent trip with shared tents, I opted for my more traditional pad. I might have to wear ear plugs myself to sleep on this NeoAir. It's less noisy when a bit less inflated.
I really wanted to love this pad because it is SO LIGHT. It blows up well with the Big Agnes bag inflator. You can feel the warmth being radiated back to your body. The pad's construction ensures you don't "bottom out" if sitting up. The main reason I didn't keep mine is that I am a side sleeper and I roll over all the time, and this pad was a little stiff for me. The pad is na... Read more

I read the other reviews and was a bit worried about the noise and width of this pad. I don’t move much when sleeping, so thought it might be OK for me. The price, comfort and weight were real selling points. Sadly, the crinkle sounds was just too much. I would worried about it waking my tent mate. And the width is a bit narrow. I’ll return this and keep looking.

I'm 5'6" and I've always found the regular NeoAirs too long and the short ones too short. It always felt like I was carrying extraneous weight with my other pads, but this one is perfect for my height! I'm a tosser so the width could've been a little wider, but it didn't feel any narrower the other neoair regulars. I've used it down to freezing, but the insulation seemed enough... Read more

I knew the NeoAir XLite was popular but I also considered it out of my price range. Armed with a coupon and a Campsaver sale I bought the women's model that is only 1 inch shorter than me. Slept on the hardwood floor the first night I got it and loved it. I'm about 150 lbs and a side sleeper and I never felt my hip bones sinking thru the pad to the floor. It's very comforta... Questions & Answers for Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite Sleeping Pad Classic Valve - Women's
The main difference is that the women's pads run shorter than them men's pads (this one is 66 inches, where the regular sized men's pads run 72 inches). There is also a floral-like pattern on the top of the pad.
